The Postgraduate School of the Medical University of Graz has offered this MBA postgraduate course since 2013. It is aimed at current managers throughout the healthcare system and cooperating stakeholders who would like to increase their know-how or prepare for this type of career. Redesigned in 2017 in response to national and international developments, the course continues to be based on four pillars—general management, hospital management, public health and leadership—supplemented by special application-oriented exercises and a knowledge module that prepares students for the master's thesis and further publications.

Als Medizinerin konnte ich mir in diesem Lehrgang das notwendige rechtliche, administrative und wirtschaftliche Grundwissen für zukünftige weitere Führungsaufgaben aneignen. Besonders gefallen hat mir die Interaktion sowohl mit den Referent* innen als auch den Komiliton*innen. Ich kann allen Kolleg* innen, die Interesse an Führungsaufgaben haben, diesen Lehrgang wärmstens empfehlen.
